NEW YORK CITY!!!!!! :D

So if you watch our videos, you are probably aware that we took a day trip to NYC this past Saturday!!! :] I made a vlog of the day that you can watch below (if you haven't already). On Wednesday, Laura and I were in school and we were talking about how much fun it would be to go to the city. It was supposed to be super warm out which is always great weather for NYC! ;] We made a plan to ask our parents. When we asked them, they DID need a liiiiittle convincing but they gave in and we bought train tickets! :] We always take the 6:50 am train which means getting up REALLY early. We got to the city and went immediately to Cafe Metro, which is our favorite breakfast place in NY. Check out their website here. :]

After breakfast, we went to...THE AMERICAN GIRL PLACE! :D Basically, the American Girl Place was the reason why we went on this trip in the first place... :] Laura knew exactly which doll she wanted. She got doll #39 and named her Nancy Drew.
Laura with Nancy! :]

I had it between three different dolls! The hardest part was picking one! I finally decided on #49 after an hour or so of contemplating the different choices. :]

Me and my new doll, Lola Vegas! :]

Haha, random side note: A lot of people have been asking if Laura and I are twins. The answer is no, we are not. For some reason, a LOT of people think we are especially this year. We're just sisters. I'm 18 and Laura is 16. :]

Outside of American Girl with our goodies! ;]

After American Girl, it was a blur of shopping and walking around NYC. We ate at Pop Burger which is, hands down, THE BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I was on a class trip last year, and we went in there on a whim. But, everytime we go to the city we HAVE to stop at Pop Burger. I suggest if you ever go to the city, you should try a Pop Burger. :] You can check out their website here.

Pop Burger: It's love. ♥

At the end of the day, we headed back to the train station to go home! :[ When we got there, we learned that our train had a delay so we just went to our track and sat down. Luckily, it was only a 15 minute delay but we ended up getting home an hour later than planned. We were so tired! But instead of going to bed when we got home, I stayed up until 1am so I could edit the vlog for you guys! :] Hahaha

Sisters For Life Q&A!

Lately, a lot of people have been sending us YouTube messages and comments asking about our show. Thanks to Hallie and Laura, our current episode of Sisters For Life has over 1,000 views! We decided to answer some common questions about the show here. :]

Q: When do you upload the show?
A: The show is uploaded every Tuesday afternoon. Usually around 2:45pm EST.

Q: How many episodes are going to be in this season?
A: We're going to try and get 9 or 10 episodes per season. I think this season is 9 episodes long.

Q: How many seasons are there going to be?
A: We aren't absolutely sure. We have episodes planned out through the third season. So minimum, 3 seasons. But I'm sure there will be more! :]

Q: Where and when do you film Sisters For Life?
A: Weekends are the most convenient to film so we usually film then. The filming location is our old bedroom which is our 'Doll Room'. Our father made some dollhouses for us and we film in those. After season 1 of Sisters For Life is finished, I will make a tour video for the 'Bonus Features' of the show.

Q: How long does it take to film an episode of the show?
A: It varies. Usually before we film we have to set up the house. Then we need to get everyone in their costume. We gather any props/make any signs we need for that episode. When all of that is done, we film. We don't have a script, we just talk out the lines and decide on which lines to use. A complete cycle of that usually takes 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Q: What's going to happen on the season finale?
A: We obviously aren't going to reveal any major secrets, but there will definitely be surprises. :]

Q: After this season, are you going to do anything special?
A: We have a great contest planned when season 1 is over, so stay tuned for that! ;]
